Why the old-fashioned website?

I've had to rethink how I want to develop my homemade video games! Because, as a lone person, I cannot be a corporation, I've decided to present myself as not-a-corporation. I currently like to think of my gamedev pursuits as a sort of "cottage industry."

Also I've always wanted to make websites like this, so here I am :) I am quite enamoured with various efforts to bring back a more personal, decentralized web.
